Some might ask, why go through the trouble of redesigning this web page. After all, ones observations would lead to the conclusion that this small church does not need a web site at all. Additionally, it can be observed that the members of the church do not make much use of the existing web site. So why redesign?

Strangely, the last reason is the best reason for redesign. That perhaps the church is the wrong focus. Rather, this web site should, like Christ, focus on seeking to reach out to others. Others we do not know, or who would never consider stepping through the door. Others that might force congressional members outside of their comfort zone. Others that don't meet some predefined identity. Others that are intellectually honest. Others that wish to discuss their beliefs and grow in Christ.

Are these others out there? Will they visit? Will they be encouraged? No one knows. However, if we do not at least try to reach them, then we never will.

Others are, and must be the reason for what we do as Christians!
